I have all the results printed out in front of me but nothing i can copy onto here, maybe Glen can post them later if he has the file.

I have to say that everyone here last weekend was the best crowd i have ever seen, all the day spectators were very appreciative of all the competitors efforts, and all competitors and those involved with them are more than welcome back to my place. Numerous teams asked if there was anything they could do to help over the weekend. From what i have been told by quite a few official people everyone behaved exceptionally on the road, a big thank you to all for that, because that will help next years approval immensly. It was also very satisfying that not one single competitor questioned any of our recoveries, some of you managed to get horribly stuck and just completely trusted us to get you removed in a quick and safe manner. Thank You.

As for the slow day saturday, I think we made Stage 1 a bit too long, the bottom part of the track posed no real challenge, it just took up time. So next year i think we may shorten that stage. Nothing else will change though, we will always run the stages in order, so the guys that get thier entries in early and choose thier start positions get that advantage until stage 3 at least. We will look at starting the second stage a bit sooner next year, and i have a few other ideas to make things more efficient.

Once again THANKS EVERYONE it was pleasure having you all here, and i would have liked to socialise more and catch up with everyone but it was just not possible. Hope to see you all next year.

On behalf of the Canobolas 4wd club we'd like to thank not only the competitors for being a great bunch of guys and gals but also the spectators. I've had only good reports from my fellow club members on crowd behaver. The camping and competition areas were left in a tidy condition with only minimal litter.
A special thanks to Micheal Depasquale and his navi Andrew for not only donating $100 to movember but also his winnings from the travel ramp as well.
Congratulations to our place getters. In addition Mel Robinson for “best drive”, Hamish Hudson “best drive on 35’ tyres or less” and Justin Thompson “hard luck”.
Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.

As one of the Mo Bros, I would like to personally thank all of those who donated via the travel ramp and a BIG special thanks to Micheal Depasquale and Andrew Tumminello for their donation of both the winnings and a $100 out of their pocket, thanks to all your efforts we raised another $210 to this great cause. Thanks again, Fordy aka the mexican, chopper, the pool guy, ivan (mallat) and a few other names that people came up with for my mo that I will not put on here, thanks.

Top work to all involved with getting the comp up and running and putting the hard yards in to let us come and drive - and to all the competitors and spectators for rocking up.

16th place for us, not too bad at all :D

Bring on next year

Hi all,

Another great Toperi. Well done Tony and Co.

Pics from the event are now up. There's over 1100 shots, and I've grouped them in team order so it's easy to find yourself.

Album here:
http://www.australianimages.com.au/gall ... llery=1075

Unfortunately, there won't be a DVD this year, but I do have limited video footage which may appear in a 4WD Action DVD in the future, or be uploaded raw to youtube. I'll let you all know.

Is it just me or is it that only the thumbnail pics can be seen. Can't see them enlarged when you click on them at all.

Or am I just being a dumbass this morning??

On behalf of the Lithgow 4WD Club congrats, a fantastic comp. Had the best time and the tracks were challenging. Look forward to next years. Also  to Sean and John John, with a huge help from Adam and Steve for taking 5th place overall. The Lithgow banner still flys... :D
