TB42 electric fuel pump and return line

Hi all i have just installed a holley blue into by TB42 and am interested in where to tap the return line into?

The pump is attached to the chassis close to the tank at about mid tank then runs to the fuel filter in the engine, then to the regulator and then finally onto the carby.

what im interested in is wher to tap the return line in
1. before the filter
2. after the filter
3. after the regulator
4. or not worry about it

Im hoping that the return line may fix some flooding issues i have had,

Havent had to much to do with tb42s but don't all carbys have a return line already.

the tb42 normally has the return on the mechanical pump so trying to work out where to fit it in when not using that one

Dwaynes, put the return as close to the carby as possible.

The holley might be a bit of an overkill, I had a holley blue on my old RX4 (300hp bridgeport) with a big webber carby, and we had issues with flooding, and the only way we could keep the built up pressure off the needle and seat was to put another small pump sucking on the return line, turned on and off buy a micro switch and cam on the throttle, and this thing used to drink fuel like it was going out of style.

From memory a holley blue runs at 15lb, and that would be to much for the needle and seat.

Why do you want to run a return with a holley anyway, that is what reguglator are for set at 3-4 pound and you wont need a return line as the needle and seat will work that is why the pump has a releft value
