xj lift quiz if someone could give me a quick brief CHEERS!!

hey guys just wondering what size lifts to run tires

i 2 inch equals 31

3inch 33 and so on

and what some of suspensions components need upgrades for the tire sizes


any help would be awsome


new to the jeep seen and wanna get some bigger rubber to go with the good flex i've already seem

Gepends in the Jeep....A JK will fit upto a 33" stock....whereas an XJ will require 3"+
Then it depends on how much cutting or body lift is done.

and if you go wider flares you can use diferent back space rims to avoid inside rubbing.

I have about 5" with 33 just keep to about 3" with 32 a lot easier to do have a look at the site OIIIO put up a go from there :P

depends on how much you want to spend and what sort of wheeling you want to do. a 4.5" RE kit will enable 32" and 33" tyres to be fitted with the guards cut out about 2".

31's on xj (only snips needed.)

me and mate fitted 31s on my xj sport, just by removing the flares partly, then we trimmed the wheel arches where it was rubbing when flexed on ramps in the driveway. refitted flares and no problems since. i will be installing a two inch lift shortly, due to more weight being added to the car and will look sick. "31s WITHOUT LIFT KIT STILL NO WORRIES."
