G'day guys looking at a maverick today, well i should say looked at one, and its in good condtion but the one item that i was a little unsure about was that he had recently had the head and all the bolts replaced.
When I asked why he said the other one had corroded out and it had to be done. Too his credit he does have all the receipts for the work, but could this be the start of more things to come and the break down of something else i should look for?? Or now that its done its one less thing for me to worry about...
Its a 1990 4.2Lt Petrol jobby with 240 000 on the clock

Im not a gyno but ill take a look at it for you!
it was done only 1000 k's ago, by his mate he has his own mechanic joint.
He reckons i can ring him and ask him bout the vehicle if i want, but if there mates whats the point. He'll only talk bout how good it is.
Makes me think that as it was only done not too long ago maybe when the head was knackered it allowed the block to get too hot and warp and whos to say it wont keep blowing head gaskets and cams!
its a 4.2L 1990 petrol with 240 k on the clock got a 4 inch lift and other goodies.
could prob get it for 6 grand...
