Cheezy, FAT, Patrol Docta, Big-O 4x4, 2DExtreme are just a few that come to mind.

Do a search - its been covered plenty of times. Have a look in the Bible section too.

Google should return results for most of the fabricators i posted.

One thing to remember, Tube bars are great for competitions, but they dont protect like a normal ARB/TJM style bar.

This is one thing i actualy agree with you on they dont protect like them because they are much better and stronger.
Any custom fab job worth its salt should be far more superior in strength, quality and protection than a mass produce run of the mill no idea who is welding them type off the shelf bar.
I personally would head straight to Ben at 4B fab in carrum downs top notch work of the best quality goin.

As much as I agree a properly done tube bar may be better. Unfortunatly most are crap. And weaker then the likes of an engineered ARB bar.
Alot of people building tube bars just pput steel where they think it will work. But have no idea. Most tube bars I have seen are bloody heavy also.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
