Post by dmrbikes »

hey guys so this is my story lol...
driving to work other morning cruising at 100clicks... motor stalled
so pulled over checked oil and water... all sweet... started her back up now has ticking noise that in creases with speed as the motor revs...

i have checked injectors...
checked timing
checked under rocker cover... all looks normal...

just wondering if it sounds familiar to any one or if any one knows what it is... cheers guys

Sounds like a bad big end, maybe a bad camshaft or valve bucket. or maybe the tip of a broken glow plug rattling in there.

If it started up easy first go after stalling it's probably not a fuel problem
