Hey guys, correct if wrong, but my old mans got a 05 Prado that has just ran out of warranty, so he can start playing now. Its got the pre d4d, 1kz-te im lead to believe.. He want to start by changing the xhaust for towing the caravan...
Now i seem to think the zorst is about 2.5'' n the dump is about the same... Fair few mufflers in there too... Would a 3inch dump n exhaust with minimal mufflers be a good road to take? Im not too sure with these newer engines, bit different to the ol 2.8T in the lux
Thanks in advance guys,
Cheers, chris

Chris have you checked out www.pradopoint.com ? there is a heap of info on there regarding Prados bound to be a few that have done some mods that would be able to give you feedback. A lot on there tow caravans or camper trailers also.
Toy: 98 TJ with some mods and some bling
Tourer and daily: 120 Prado with some mods
3" Exhaust made a BIG difference to my 1kz in the lux- i dont have the intercooler that dads 95 series prado TD does, but mine definately goes harder, pulls better, and comes on song a LOT sooner!
