I currently have 2.5inch exhaust with muffler (huge) and hotdog at end and want too get a better note/louder note.
Would 4.2 Petrol with LPG (TB42) 2.5inch straight through exhaust into hotdog/resonator be too loud? Or under power 4wd?
Any replys would be awsome thanks

1991 4.2 petrol shorty, dual batteries, IPF spoties, ROH Alloy's, roof racks, 2inch lift kit, 33 inch tyres, 2 1/2 inch exhaust with extractors, rock sliders
I have the same minus the hot dog, not to loud compared to some I have herd but still a good note and loud enough when giving it a gut full that is allmost silent when cruising on 100k doesent drone. I think strait trough would be way to loud and droney I would get the hot dog removed and see what you think if still not happy get a smaller muffler fitted.
blew the baffles out of my SWB muffler and got it replaced with a piece of pipe. (2.5in all the way). Sounded awesome, but was very loud. Could hear it 2 odd km away going through the gears....let alone giving it hell!!!
Unfortunately power lacked and fuel usage went up marginally, so a straight through muffler went on.
Dont think i got any videos anywhere
