looking to supercharge my hilux 2.8
anyone no what kind of charger that would fit my 2.8 litre toyota hilux. and does anyone one no wear i can get one from. cheers David
sc12 or sc14 old toyota superchargers have been used
personally i would not bother as it is a massive stuff around
turbo's run so much better on a 2.8 and easy and cheaper, and you dont have to fluck around with different size pulleys to adjust your boost..
and they are so straight forward to setup, bolt on and your away..

s/c
I have a S/C on a 2.2 4y efi and yes it was a lot of stuffing around to set it up. Saying that though it was well worth it. The big advantage is being able to turn it off and on at will. On a mechanically injected diesel I would put a turbo on it if I were you.
