Putting the 6ltr in the 80 over christmas
What have people done for engine mounts as I'm looking for some ideas

pretty sure you would be able to pick them up from marks addapters off the shelf, easier than trying to make them

I tried to get the marks ones but they wouldn't separate them out of there aircon kit which costs $1500. I ended up making my own with 6mm plate copying their idea.

Sorry didn't take any photos before they were fitted up. There are better pics in the marks manual. Can email it to you if you don't already have it.
I have heard of people just welding some angle iron onto the chassis and using the factory commodore mounts but doing the marks way means no chassis welding which should make it easier to get engineered.

Here are some I made for a 5.0 into GQ conversion. They are based oin the 'unbreakable' mounts sold by marks. So far they have proved to be 'unbreakable' :D
