Just a quick question, in what year did the defenders get traction control, im talkin both the 130's and 110's. Also do the 130's come out with maxi drive rear axles standard? Thanks in advance

About 2000 with the extreme model, dont think 130's had it that early if at all ? Maxi is aftermarket company not LR factory, they had a slisbury style diff up to 2003 then they fitted a rover style diff.

yeh ok thanks, iv noticed a few for sale that have the maxi rear axles i thought maybe they were a standard thing. they seem to be rare, not many good 130s or 110 utes geting round on the 2nd hand market. one more thing, are the 130's as long as they look in photos, i know it refers to the wheelbase length but in comparison to other twin cabs are they that much bigger? they look like they'd belly out a lot being so long

They are very capable machines, guy on the AULRO site has one and its a beauty, goes pretty much anywhere. Ideal touring vehicle i think though not ideal for the safeway carpark due to their size.
