so did you speak with anyone before you started to firstly find out if you can do it and if so what need to be done to make sure it complies?
Or have you just done it and are now hoping that someone will sign it off because generally engineers wont sign off work they have not seen during the process nor on stuff already completed.
But good luck

Why haven't you asked this Engineer to sign off on it if you have already discussed the mod and done it as suggested?DeanJ wrote:i have followed procidure ive done it the way i was told by a engerneer of suzy sprot, with the correct 3m steel and bracing, i have photos of the build start to finish, so they can see were i have welded and braced. i was hoping to find some one who is able to come to my house, sign it off befor i paint it and put it on the chassi. cheers

in that last photo, it looks like it's a hilux rear diff not a bundy? the pumpkin is centred on a slowlux

hey mate im sure you did the same thing in your build so wy judge me. and im sure i have stated bundy rear, but all i had for the mock up at the time was a hilux diff, get it up there wrote:i can almost feel the vibrations from here!!atari4x4 wrote:in that last photo, it looks like it's a hilux rear diff not a bundy? the pumpkin is centred on a slowlux
Re: ute
You'de be the ducks nuts if you could get that thing working on 33's and still keep it SPUA. That would be uber stable!!!!!DeanJ wrote:yer i am going SPOA once the car is on the road and regersterd.Gutless wrote:so you going SPOA or not?
FUK the SPOA

Re: ute
You cut the entire back of the cab off!! What the FCUK is stopping you from doing a virtual lift???DeanJ wrote:yer i would say . the spoa but i just dont see it working unles i do a virtaul lift on the front, ill see wat happens when the time comes.
Surely that is easier than SPOA??

4age zook ute in lots of bits
Cut Cut CUT! I'm going for 34" swampers next SPUA, granted I've got a 2" body lift and a lowered 5" lift kit but I've barely touched my gaurds and have not done a proper virtual lift and I'm confident it'll fit.
