Yes There Was smack talk the other night out here , Just thought i would put some pressure on Larco's young fella (aka Slim....or string bean) but the only thing is i have enough trouble making it to the end ,so i am my own biggest threat out there ....oh well it was a good night for smack talk and ill be happy if the rocky boys go down and do well and have a blast doing it , as the local boys are getting better and better larco , wardy, hutchie, and the big fella 2 looking forward to it for sure just might get my car going beforehand and get a drive weekend in aswell

The smack talk has been done, the challenge layed out. Who will take honours as cq's fastest gq shorty  (way have to make a trophy for this  ). Even heard a rumour a couple of other gq shorties have heard the call and may represent. Maybe a turbo black 4.8  . Or a 355 stroker  . Maybe even a wheel man may make an appearance . I for one will be there to give abuse... i mean encouragement for the event. Wife may even come down to to tell the boys how its done

Hi guys just comp my comp rig back with the rollcage in it. Was thinking of running it at coopers just after some tips on what else ill be needing. Fitted new tyres and rims and kings all round. She's a 4litre ford territory Awd. Do i need anything other than the cage to race?

Hey Giggles...

I'd like to offer you some advice seen as I am an expert in the Coopers Race Series.

First up.

12 inch lift with triple OME shock absorbers...
I know it sounds a little old school but if you can remove the strut springs for leaves you'll be headed in the right direction. I hear Dobysport can make some custom 8 inch lift sierra ones that should be spot on!

Second.
Get yourself a good navi.
I would say that someone like Deano should be a perfect navi. He always seems to get Beatle to do the most amazing things in his 80 series. So if you could recruite Deano for a navi I'd say your on a good thing. He has more than a little experience of "aired out" jumps too!

Third.
Super Tune
Make sure your Territory is in TIP TOP condition! You want to squeeze every little bit of HP out of it you can... I hear there is a guy up that way that hangs with the Fastest GQ in CQ that "really knows how to tune" those 1920s Wolf 3D abbicus's! Maybe he would be worth looking up... Just a warning you know if he works with that Super GQ his rates aint going to be cheap!

That should get you across the line in Third place.............

You really don't stand a chance against the two title fighters!!!!

hey giggles
I sugest you get one of those electric super chargers to get some real power out of the race truck they punch some real power out of my lawn mower so it should do the job on your car. then the 2 little fighters will have to earn there places then

[quote="digsy"]Two "little" fighters :lol:

i dont think so but you never know if i can get the busted buggy fixed i might go for a play but these Two little fighters have the skills so I wouldnt stand a chance unless I get the hilux up and running with a big 96 hp and lowered so I dont roll it as I am good at that as you all know I can even roll it in my own drive way.hehe lol

cheers crazy eyes
if it aint forced it wont go

Digsy you say your an expert before you start trouting on why dont you get out and try it first this sport is expensive hard on cars and body . It is also very enjoyable . I rased all 4 coopers the whole series i got 6th out of modified and got jack shit not even a cooler . If you want a expert opinion i say leaves are not suitable power is good but driver skill gets you there and no fear . Keep car as low as you can and make sure every thing on car is sound 2fire exti very handy lol and spare tire parts and tools rec . I hope any one from up here goes down good luck and remember this sport does not have big prize money its for the hell of driving your carlike you stoll it . And no i am not rasing coopers this year other fish to fry .

Ah Hunnybun...

Me thinks its a gee up what digsy and giggles are saying... Deep Breaths usually help... I believe the wording is 'before you start trouting'

Thanks for the input guys. Glad to have the help of an "expert" Digsy. "SPIT". Got one of those electric blowers in the shed there tiler, might wire in up on 24 volt to get a bit more power outa it. As for good navi and driver combo's, my team will give the wee title fighters a run. I've convinced Deano to navi and for pure driver skill managed to talk his wife into wheelin. She just got back from a 2 week driving course from the wheel man race industries. So see you all down there, we be in the red territory showin you the tail end

And sorry Huneybun... I know most of you boys in Rocky don't get our Humour but I promise I was just joking with Giggles....
I'm pretty confident that he won't cut out his struts to put in Seirra leaves or triple shocks... and I'm reasonably confident he isn't going to race a territory!
Just a having a little joke between mates...
