will nissan patrol rims fit on a 4runner??? or Is the stud pattern same???

yeah they fit them. with a bigger offset usaully.

Yes, same stud pattern and Patrol rims (zero offset) will give you a slightly wider stance and IFS 4Runner rims are -8mm offset I believe.

Only issue is the centre rim hole is bigger on the patrol rims (111mm) which means that the rim is located entirely on the studs. OK for road rims but not the best for offroad punishment.
IMO 40, 60 or 70 series Cruiser (up to 92) or solid axle hilux rims are a better choice for offroad use as the centre hole size is the same (100mm).

All of my cruiser rims are stud centric rather than hub centric, the hub and bore of the rim make no contact, all of the load is beared but he studs.. I have some MQ rims that wont clear the calipers on my 40.. Other than offset there is no reason to not run them.
