TB42 Exhaust - Resonator or no resonator?

Post by BrentE »

I just got lukey "turbo" muffler put onto my gq shorty's existing exhaust system.. [extractors-2.5inch pipe-Lukey offset centre turbo muffler-resonator (just before tip) and was thinking it would be louder then what it is. Although the note is awsome if your not at back of car then engine seems louder then exhaust while reving.

I just want alittle more noise without making it deafening. Would removing resonator make it drone on highway? Or should i get hotdog with not as much noise dampening?

thanks :)

move the muffler closer to the front of the car mate, then you get a decent reverb through the rest of the exhaust b4 it exits
