carby turbo 1.3
carby turbo 1.3
Im after some info on people who have turbo there 1.3 with a blow thru setup and what carby they ran?? im not doin a draw thru or going fuel inected so dont bother asking why dont i do that. so any one out thre who has done it got pics and what carby you used thanks.
might i suggest a small holley as they are easier to tune and get parts. Just be sure to keep an eye on the float as normally this needs to be filled with foam or an aluminium one used depending on boost pressure as they calapse under pressure otherwise.
I only have experience with turbo carby V8's and efi but i suppose the theory would be similar.
perhaps these may be better suited to forced induction, but do not expect to find a cheap solution.

In all honesty, if your turbocharging a car and not goin injection your wasting your time. Having played with plenty of turbocharged motors, injection is the only way to go.

i haven't cad a carby turbo zook but i had a mate with a turbo 2 ltr escort with a webber, went well and was pretty good when it was set up. it did take some sorting out. biggest thing with a boosted carby is to get a boost reference fuel reg and set that right or inclose the whole carby.
holleys are very easy to work on and every one knows them.
why not use a stock carby and rejet? unless your going for all out power but as lat80n said injection is the best way to go

These would be the most common on this setup i believe.
