Will the wheels off my 96 FJ80 fit my 83 HJ60?

probably wouldnt drive it too far but, the offset on the rims is different, making the track very narrow

No they will not fit! If they are stock 80 offset that is. The rears will fit fine but the fronts will rub the calipers and cause you a whole lot of grief if you try to drive further than out the driveway. if they are 80 rims with an aftermarket offset then you have a chance.

if you have an axle widening kit on the front (IFS lux hubs) and 80 series hubs, GQ discs on the rear, yes, they do fit.... :)

i've ran early 80s 15 inch rims on a 60. they come very close to the tie rods but don't seem to rub. Is the offset that much different between 15 ant 16 inch rims?
