samurai camshalf vs vitara

Post by whib »

hey there,
just wondering if there is any difference in the 8v camshalf between the g13a and g16a? calmini has them as the same part number which lead me to believe they are the same?

Apparently they are the same. I have just ordered 2 brand new billet cams from low range and should be here shortly. Vitara ones might be slightly different in profile in standard form compared to a g13a/b but I don't know.

They are basically the same but the stock 1.6 cam has a little more lift and duration than the stock 1.3 cam.
