I want to buy a new clutch slave cylinder for GQ TD42 with vac booster.
Checking catalogues there seems to be some that say there is two types and others that say there is only one for all models.
Anyone have a part number for one that would suit the above?
Thanks

Ok more info
some list JB4198 as suitable for all 4.2 models of GQ
but others list:
Jb4198 up to 1991 and then JB4257 as 92-97
I am thinking that the JB4198 suits non servo assisted and JB4257 suits the servo ones?
Can anyone verify this?

TD42 slave cylinder
Went to the brake place and their listing shows the JB4198 to be the same as the JB4257. Opened the boxes and they look exactly the same (same length, bores, mounts etc etc) Only difference was the bleeder nipple was longer on the JB4198.
Oh the JB4198 is cheaper too.......
Next big question, does anyone know the length of the pushrod ( from slave cyl to clutch fork) for the slave cylinder. None of the above new cylinders come with pushrods and the brake place cant help. Nothing in the manuals either. My problem is I have two after the engine change and they are different lengths
P.S That clutch bleeding caper is a wonderul experience what

I know of the bleed nipple under the bonnet on some models, but mine is a later one and has a single one piece steel pipe from master cyl to flexi hose.
Its still a complete rooster to bleed though.
