Hi all,
We just bought a Rangie & it is supposed to be a Wood&Picket conversion.
The question is does anyone know what it is???
It has -Leather seats
-Flares
-Different motor(not 3.5 goes to well)with extracters,350 holley
-Wood grain dash with extra gagues
-2 tone paint
-It's a 1/85 model,4 speed auto
Any info would be much appreciated as we have never heard of them before.

That's pretty small for a model. The wheelbase would be just over an inch long.

Quadramotive in Melbourne and Asquith and Johnson in Sydney both did conversions using the Wood and Pickett components at that time.
They normally included a 200hp upgrade to the 3.5 or a 5 litre Holden V8. Both also got recaro seats and the schuler transfer case as part of the conversion and normally ran on BWA rims.
I clearly remember the black rangie in Sydney with the 'AJFFRR' number plates. I thought then, and now, that it was one of the coolest cars around..
