thanks guys good info there. they were saying on sky manufacturing site that the v6 ifs calipers were the largest caliper. can anyone confirm this for me bit unsure as the later cruisers have bigger calipers than early models

Been told the same thing doe.
I do know that the cruiser brake pads fit V6 calipers, but that does not mean they are exactly the same.

Pics of my V6 calipers if it helps you ...

45mm V6 caliper vs early Surf 42mm caliper (later Surfs had 45mm V6 caliper)

hey dougster thanks for your help. looking at your pix it looks like the early 42mm surf has a smaller brake pad than the 45 mm caliper. that is the same i found with the early to late model cruiser. im not in shed at moment but will have a look at part numbers on my calipers maybe they are same. cheers scott

When fitting IFS hubs to a landcruiser with a hub widening kit (ie a spacer) you use the standard rotors.

Yes, on mine I used a "wide track kit" from Marks on an IFS front hub to match the IFS rear width.
It's a 30mm spacer I think from memory and the 60 series rotor bolts to the spacer.

Not all Hilux rotors are the same, so check the link below to see if your std ones will work with the Marks kit. 60 series are 49mm in height when laid flat on a bench.
Most will work, just the rotor spacer will need to be a different thickness.
