landcruiser rim offset compared to Patrol

Post by MAD80 »

i have a 93mod 80series and am looking for a second set of rims for my car. finding it really hard to find GXL steel rims( or any 16" landcruiser rims) anywhere close enough to wollongong. how different is the 16" nissan patrol rim offset compared to landcruiser. i have heard about Patrols using lancruiser rwheels but not the other way around. are they usable

pretty sure that GU wheels will fit but they sit in further than 80 wheels.. ppl chase the 80 wheels cos they sit out a bit further.

May as well just get a set of sunnies if ya gunna get gu wheels.. at least ya can pick offset then

cheers, my brother changed the offset on his 100 series to make em stick out futher (bout -25 to -30) to fit 35's without rubbing, was hoping they were slightly negative.

Patrol is -13 and landcruiser is -20, that's going off the aftermarket wheels I have.

I was under the impression that Patrol rims are 0 offset and landcruiser are -25, meaning the LC rims make the vehicle sit wider. Also, you can run Landcruiser rims on the Patrol but you cant run Patrol rims on the Landcruiser as the hub on the Patrol is smaller along with the centre hole in the rim - so it wont pass over the LC hubs. I'm not sure if the offset would also interfer with the steering on the PS front wheel also.

The 16 inch GXL rims are 0
All other 80 series are -16
All 60/75 series are -25

Check your GXL rims again tiler, they are true 0 offset
