Sticky clutch pedal after maintenance.

Post by Mario »

Replaced master and slave clutch cylinders. Used Japanese aftermarket new parts. Now clutch engages fine but when pedal is depressed, it feels "sticky" like if something like tar or glue prevents it to return freely. sometimes happens when it's pressed but mostly it's on the return. Didn't had the problem before (yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it) Just replaced those because they were old and was replaceing the brake master anyways. Reffitted the old master and slave and same thing is happening. Of course new fluid is used and we have bled extensively. Any clues? Could it be a hose?

Problem was the last piece of hose, going to the slave cilinder. Replaced it and issue solved.

cheers
