Post by Sixty »

Any ideas where i can find a cheaper alternative to a genuine Suzy starter motor? The old one looks like its been rebuilt once before and the front bush/housing is flogged out. Suzy want $680  for a new one....

Thanks for any info,

Took the old one into an elecy, turns out the last owner put a 1.3 s/motorin the Vit. Sposed to have a planetary s/motor which is double the cost. Bugger :?

I have had what looks to be a sierra starter starting my 1.6 for years ... (about 5 or so now) no wrorries as far as bushes go .. and miine has seen more than it's fair share of mud, general abuse etc ..
