Sorry if its been coved before, couldn't find any info on it.
Will a 3l inj pump of a 89 4wd hilux fit a 2l 85 2wd?
current truck, 105 series GXL diesel 6" springs & twin pro lockers
sierra LWB spoa one wide track diffs twin locked

Chances are very poor
Manuels= 4wd,cars,bikes,guns,trucks,race cars
Automatics=washing machines,dish washers,fridges

It will fit, they are the same physical size and mounting points are the same, but i'd say it would be pumping in a little to much fuel, you would need to adjust it.

The timing gear etc is identical, timing off the pump is identical, mounting of the pump is identical.

The only thing that would be different as i said is the amount of fuel because of the difference in the size of the motor.

2l, 2lte (computer controlled), and 3l all are interchangeable, obviously the 2lte will not work as a mechanical pump as like the 2l and 3l pumps

What are you after, i have a 2l pump in good working order sitting around waiting for someone to buy it if you want it.

Or have a ask around for someone local, mechanical diesel injector pumps have come down alot in price to what they used to be not so long ago.
