Question on new V8 Cruiser ute?

Post by jaybags »

Sorry this has probably been discussed on here before but i do not read the Toyota section and could spend all day trying to find it.

My question is.
Does the new V8 ute have the same front diff as its previous model which i think is the 79 series?
Was the front end made wider to fit the new V8 in?

Thank you if you can help me out on these couple of questions.

No they widened it for the V8. The rear stayed the same.
