And as for spectators being the unsung heroes lol what a joke!. How many heroes get drunk and disorderly, leave there rubish anywhere they feel like it, disregard event spectator entry requirements and show general disregard for officials
,
there is always going to be someone in every crowd that plays up, but plain and simple, without spectators this sport could not make money, or any other sport for that matter

As for penalties/handicap, this is a great idea and it will keep the playing field more level between the guys with big dollars to use & the ones that are just starting.

It also helps the new guys into the sport. Handicaps already operate in many sports and it is accepted without complaint.
a great idea?? the only people that seem to be supporting the idea are people who dont race, every form of motor sport is gettin more advance and you wanna cap this one, we put a stop to $4000 worth of coilovers but i can go spend 10 or 12 on a winch no drama and not get penalised, ill say it for the 547937th time having a big dollar truck doesnt get you the top spot, a good team does,

have a unlimited class

Hey Kent, was starting to wonder if had moved countries or something.
I as have already said, this event is more for those that want to have a go and try our sport out without having to go to roll cages etc. Davo, Dukesy and myself are now running another event for those that want to get into the more serious comps.
This event is, and I hope will remain, a feeder event to WTC, XWC & SSS etc.
Hope to see you down here again Kent, we will have some more competition for you this year.

but that was what was SO GOOD about your event, it wasnt so serious and yet still competitive and their wasnt all the bull shit, it was by far the best event i have competed in, the most fun, it was relaxed and enjoyable,
i think i won because of my team not because of my truck, after all i dont think i was the quickest on any stage at all,
i leaving this sport because of the constant rule changes, the favourits, the bull shit, and the bitches in the sport that wanna beat you with rules not their team,(thats not reffering to NOS thats reffering to a incident at a 8 day)

and not trying to blow my own whistle but i think everyone enjoyed watching my truck, their were people all over it when ever i stopped, people love looking at stuff like that,

Will be a shame not to have you competing, but if you want to bring your new truck down for demo, that's fine with me. We will have to play it by ear with having a belt at the hill drags, but i'm sure we can find someone to race against you.
Make sure you come and say g'day.

Mosko, the penilty system is explain in the rule, and if you jave any question, let me know.
As for nominating just for the drags, if he wants to pay the nom fee and only run the hill drags, he is more than welcome, but a short answer is no.

Points for tyres. Makes it more of a challenge to drive and navi in a sensible way.

Everyone makes there own mind up on what they want out of a comp, some come to win, others to have fun. You can go as hard or as steady as you like. We are not racing for sheep stations!

Yeah mate thats right, can be a fun cruising comp and you still get the people who have to win no matter what, but with us as long as we beat the rest of the gladdy lads it doesnt matter what place i come,
will the soup bowl be undriveable again this year?

The only event that we may run through the soup bowl is a little suprise I have for the team challenge.
The individual class will not be running through the soup bowl. When I was last at the site, it was about 7 foot deep, so you are going to need a bloody long snorkle.

Floaties may be useful.

We are also looking for marshalls for this event. I would like to run things a bit different from most other events in that I would like to have enough so that we can have a roster, so you would marshall either the morning or afternoon each day so you can get around to have a look at the action as well. Anyone that is interested, please send me an email to mackayoffroadchallenge@bigpond.com.
