Looking for my Hilux

Post by Smilin Ryan »

G'day Guys & Gals,

So I've just returned from a year travelling the world and now looking to gear up to travel Aus. I've pretty much decided that I'm doing it with a Hilux and have already started my search.

At this stage I'm a bit of a novice and only looking to do a few things, ie: 33 or 35 Tyres, Lift it, Roll Bar, Bull Bar. If anyone has constructive advice on what to watch out for while choosing my vehicle I'd appreciate the feedback.

Cheers,

Ryan

If you you intend to do mostly touring the you really don't want any bigger than 33s and a 2 inch should suffice, try getting something with a canapy woul dbe handy cause tarping gear up so it doesn't get wet is a pain in the ass
