GU Advise Please

Post by OzTeXs »

Hi Guys,

I posted here a few weeks ago about most capable fourby for under 9k. Seems the GQ got the nod over most.

Now ive decided to part with the 2nd car (03 Ford XR6 Turbo) and upgrade to a GU 1999-2001 model as the sale value of the Ford should match the buy value of the Nissan.

Can please get some advise on what to look out for in the 2.8L TD ? any other things i should know ?

Thanks heaps !!

Bascially the motor is too small for a near 3T 4wd, the motors expire when used for towing etc.

If your going to buy one, find one from the city thats bog stock, no towbar that has only taken the kids to school and has had a easy life.
