5 inch lift cast arms
Here is a pic of the new cast 5 inch dropped Nissan arms we have just produced. these replace the standard arms and correct caster etc without the need for caster correction plates.
Nick Mannell is running these in his new comp rig (not yet finished) and they are said to have out flexed his old 5 link setup that was in his old GU.

This is the only thing that i dont understand how the hell will these arms out flex a 5 link front end (unless u un bolt the left side) ...........as wont this still bind in the usual spot as the standard arms ........i understand that there is gunna be alot angle and stress on the pin bush on the chassis ...................but that isnt the prob is it ??? its where the axle tries to cork screw itself between the axle end radius arm mounts true or false .......................
Guts if this is true would u ask Ryan to get Nick to take some pics.........because if it is true the pics would work betta than some1s word ........

I have been in contact with Ryan, and he told me that the only pics they have go were on a rig with 4 inch lift, the fron out flexed the rear and the shocks on the front were too short so the pics are worthless, he also told me he has trialed them on 7inch lift and drove like a charm, cant wait for them to be released, they have made 2 sets of protos to date!
verrrry interesting, should fix the caster, should fix the clearance issues with drop brackets but if the chassis mount to diff mount angle hasnt changed [with respect to vertical ] then it won't fix the wobbles.
just my thoughts...what do ya's reckon?

they have made 2 sets of protos to date!
This looks like it might be one of those products where the cat has been let out of the bag a bit early (before proper testing/costing etc) and everyone will be eagerly awaiting them for ages before they can get there hot little hands on em!
I spose they don't have any idea on cost yet hey?
they look cranked at the diff end to fix caster, but are they cranked at the chassis end as well. i can't quite tell from the photo.
they should be cranked at the chassis end to make the bush sit neutral (no bind/no squashing).
can you heat nissan arms and bend them like rover arms??

I had a good talk with Nick Mannel, about them, at this present time they are looking to be around the $1400 mark, just to warn you, this is not a fixed price, it is just a figure that he gave me. THe ones on Nick's truck so far have set them back about 7 grand to get them to where they are now, he was also saying, that they arnt finished as the mounts for the swaybar are different on GQ, and GU's so they will have provisions for both mounts.
Also, if you wanted to talk to people about their products, i can recomend waiting, as they are always willing to have a chat, I waited about 15mins to talk to Nick, i had never met him, but dealt with him over the phone, he has a pretty good memory, and always up for a chat.

Plenty of flex and would agree with the earlier comments that they look like they flex more than the 5 link he had. They really appealed to me because I do more than 40,000kms a year in my truck and like the handling on-road of the factory control arms over what I've been told about most of the 5-links out there.
Was curious about the implications for those of us that have already attacked the original brackets with a drill to fit castor plates. For strength and reliability could they supply replacement plates with holes in the factory position? I was waiting to speak to Nick about his initial thoughts on the comparison from the drivers seat but my mates kkids were causing chaos so I had to move on before I got to speak to him.
