Lift blocks
Where could I get some blocks to put between the axle and spring pack if I run rear springs out of an IFS lux in my non ifs lux??
I have them 50mm lift blocks in the rear of my lux and they are writen on my engineers report. My lux is 100% street legal and engineered as it was featured in 4x4 monthly minus beadlocks, swampers and wheel spacers.dumbdunce wrote: the RTA take a dim view of lift blocks and no engineer will pass them.
dumbdunce wrote:don't do it. the axle wrap is bad enough on a hilux and if you offroad it you will end up snapping the pinion or tailshaft. save your money and buy new springs.
afaik the RTA take a dim view of lift blocks and no engineer will pass them.
i call BS, u can get them engineered ans street legal if u replace the centre bolt from the spring pack and actually bolt the spacer 2 the spring so that it is then classed as part of the spring and therefore not illegal, thats how mine is done, and guts if u took yours 2 a strict engineer he woodnt pass them if they were not bolted 2 the springs
