There's a thread by Bru21 in the Nissan section, where putting EA single-point injection gear on a TB42 was almost bolt-on plus a dizzy chop as V8zuki says.v8zuki wrote:only drame is to modify the dizzy to make it fit ie graft the 2 together unless there is another way i dont know about

I would expect it to be a similar deal on a 3F.
This is not legal advice.

Just put one of these on my V8 surf, bloody cleaver bit of gear and the kit came with everything!!
- self learning/tuning efi (dont need to get it retuned every time you change something on the motor)
- By the time you add up all the bits and pieces you need to convert to EFI the price for this is fairly competitive.
- Sort out the fuel lines and fuel pump, bolt it on, start it up and drive!!!
- Plug in your laptop with a USB and get full control or just leave it do its own thing.
- Bugger all wires to connect, no massive loom, no computer to mount.
- 100% waterproof, they said it would run underwater no probs.
- EFI so doent care what angle the cars on.
The fuel pump that came with the kit is a bloody noisy bit of gear, i ended up using an in tank pump instead.
Would be easy to make an adaptor to put it on the cruiser.
cost me $3000 for the kit from the local supplier, could be bought a lot cheaper direct from the USA.
Costs more initially for the setup but saves a lot of headaches, tuning costs and is simple and complete. I only had to run a return line to the tank, and a couple of hose fittings otherwise everything was there, took 1 day to install and drive straight to Warby for a night run!!

Thats the go!mhgill wrote:You could buy a complete CFI EA running vehicle for $200 these days!!!
Do a compete motor conversion or just use the CFI of it...
Put in a 3.9 and dump the 3F. Leave the injection alone and just buy the adapter kit.
Would be easy to go one step further and put a later 4.0 in too.
