Hi,
Another question.... what's the purpose of the "N" position on Super-Select's lever?

Thats the neutral position. I believe it is used for manual winching and stuff.

Hey there!!!
A friend of mine wants to change his diffs in order to run bigger tires. He has an NL 3.5 V6 1999 model (facelift) with 4.272 ratio. Which diffs would fit and from which model?
He's about to buy a rear diff crown and pinion from a 2.5 TD, would this fit?
Regards
Chris

Short answer is no it won't fit but that is the local market and who knows what might fit for you.

The ratios you are looking for that are the same size as the 4.3 ratio is 4.636 and 4.9 as far as I'm aware.

Cheers NJV6! New update. The car is an NL, but not 3,5. It's a 3,0 V6. Checking the tech section, seems that the 2,5TD has same rear axle diameter with 3,0 V6. So ring and pinion would probably fit, right?
