I'm guessing theres someone out there running with a 3" lift + 35's and has fitted up some offset rims?
I've had my front inner gaurds trimed up , one problem solved
So what the biggest offset in a 16 x 9" rim has anyone put on a 105 series

Big offset -105 series with a 3" lift +35's

Got a 2" Lift with 35x12.5" creepys.
I got my 16x8" GXL rims modified at a wheel shop, Centre cut out and rewelded for more offset. Its at about -20mm now (0 is stock, so moved 20mm)
Front tyres only touched stock mudflaps, which i removed, and a bit of plastic, which i trimmed. Prob solved.
rear end scrubbed majorly on the inner guard (just above chassis rails) it even did with 285's. I fitted 2" bump stop spacers, prob solved.
I have no sway bars, and long travel shocks.
16x9" wouldnt be too common would they?
If the tyres are 12.5" wide id stay with 8" rims. 10" increases chance of losing a bead.
Also, with the offset of 10" wide rims, while they sound like big offset, the inner part of the rim is in the same position as stock offset 8" rims.

16 x 10 with 36 x 13 swampers have done, with some little tweaks to fender at rear of front, and moved diff forward 12mm by putting castor correction bushes in the rear of front arms.
Also had 40mm bump spacers with 3"lift and 12"stroke shocks.
16 x 9 or 20mm more offset is ideal for 35"on a 105 though.

My mistake everyone my stock rims are GXL 16x8 not 16x9
Was told that about 20mm would work no dramas on the 16x8 but if ya talkin 16x9 mmmmmm could have possibilties......
Cheers Darren for doing the 3" inch lift on my Cruiser (burgandy) around easter time .Its all working a treat! but with so much flex on it now the rear tyres scrub both left and right just above the chassis rail on the inner gaurds ------ so my thought were that by offsetting the rims a bit further out this would remove all scrubing, by the way its not quite touching the bumpstop extensions. Even though ya choped the inners on the front would a bigger offset than 20mm start to scrub again?
