bolt on exo-cage (pics)?

ok ive seen a couple of trucks that have a bolt on exo, which bolts onto the brush bars and steps ect.. so it can be removed for on road driving

does anyone have pics of this as im thinking about doing this to my 80 series ute

also, pics of 80 seies ex0cages would be great too

I know there is a special joiner that was designed for this purpose.

I know that wizard performance sell them, there are very likely more of the same or similar available from other fabrication shops etc.

From memory it is called a Camburg joiner. There was another one I saw that had two bolts instead of one like the wizard one but can't remember where it was.

Ask google for 'tube joiners' perhaps.

Bond roll bars do an excelent version of these at a pretty decent price, they are based at macgraghs hill in sydney and I am sure they will post for you. If you have trouble PM me I have been meaning to go in and have a chat so it would be a good excuse if I needed to pick some up and post :D

btw they make these themselves and are used on CAMS approved cages, they do various angles as well and are all tig welded 6mm from memory, they are spread slightly and slighly undersized so they clamp when bolted
