i assume it'd be the same as a lux. just drop the tailshaft off and take that flange off and you can get at it from there.. an impact gun comes in reall handy to get that nut off though.

best of luck :). with the right tools it's a 10 minute job

right tools beside impact gun to remove the seal is a hammer and a good flatblade screww driver.

Take the drive shaft off
I allways mark the the Nut on one corner and the diff (so lines match when back on)
Pull out the tab ,I do half turn takes alittle longer with a breaker bar
So start on passengers side horizontal then to drivers side Horizontal along line of diff counting how many turns.
When the nut comes off watch were it does so you put it on the same way,
Pop the seal out put new one back in.
Then put it back in just reverse order.
Other wise Buy a torque wrench find the Torque setting and do it that way.
Never use a Rattle gun you'll over load the Bearing and Mess up the backlash or preload or something I forget
Manuels= 4wd,cars,bikes,guns,trucks,race cars

you can always use a socket to put the seal in if you have a big enough socket

How ? To tap the seal in,Use the side of the Socket or do you mean one the same size as the Seal

does anyone have any idea what the torque setting is roughly? I just did mine back up to the same point plus 5 degrees. I heard a rumor it's up over 400 nm :shock:

Mine is 181-325ft-lb and preload is 7.8-11.3in-lb but that could be completely useless information for you

Not sure if the 105 has a crush tube but thats why you need to do up to same place and hope its still tight enough to not undo.

the dodgy bob sockets you can buy to do the front wheel bearing nuts is a good fit to knock in the seal. Most cruiser handymen will have one of them.
