Ok I snapped the uni flange on the weekend. The 2 holes where the uni caps go in shattered.
Is this common?
how many people have done this before?
it was on the rear shaft on the diff.

Done 3 unis on the rear.
2x were brand new, 200k on uni
one was shock loading
one was rear diff was rotated too much and killing uni
another was all believe age

I killed my driveshaft like that because the unijoint had flogged out so much the two yokes rubbed together wearing them out enough that when I gave it some boot it blew apart. I killed two unijoints because of axle wrap from springs that were to soft. Learnt my lesson there!

being SPOA you're getting spring wrap (google it) - theres only really 2 ways of fixing it... stiffer leaves (not generally good for a zuk) and a trac bar of sorts...michael a wrote:ok a bit of bouncing. thats all it does as soon as it wheel spins at all it starts.
