Jabber goooooooone!

Post by klrevo »

well guys,

its a sad day, the jabber has gone. after rebuidling it and having some fun with it, iv now sold it. Not a waste though, the guy who bought it, has bought it to drive, hes a member on here and lives close to some good tracks, so hopefully it will get used a lot, unlike towards the end of when i had it. I bought a new car a couple hours later, iv gone for something normal and unmodified, an SP20 323 Astina. Its nice to drive, has aircon, can go into carparks, cheap on fuel ahhahaha its a bit different to the jabber. Well good luck to all, maybe see you again some time in the future, for now though no 4x4.

Dean. ;)

Ahhh the memories....................
Good to hear Dean that it's still in good hands.
Hopefully he posts here to keep us updated and if he needs to know anything just has to ask.
The only things that need to be done on that truck is the rear axle upgrade and possibly a front tube bar and high mount winch - that's all I was going to do plus a half cage.
After that it was looking at a engine swap or power upgrade.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"

I had been thinking of buying it for some time, but could not get over the LWB thing. I am a SWB boy through and through - Mind you, I had been thinking that converting it to an xtra cab ute would have solved my dramas...
Being hot and all I decided to buy a boat instead.

Glad its still in OL hands. Makes me feel old thinking about the evolution of that car...
