08 Hilux with a Genuine Toyota Bull Bar (steel). I have searched and searched for a place to mount a hook on the chasis (at the front) as a suitable snatch point.
I even took it to back to Toyota today and asked them. They looked at it, and were unable to tell me. They did suggest I go and talk to one of the 4wd specialist retailers just up the road, which I did, and they looked at it and said it would be a custom jobby.
All I want is a safe and effective front snatch point. Anyone else solved this problem? Did you have to go custom?
I am unwilling to rely on the tie down points which are just two loops of steel welded on.
Thanks in advance
Cheers MG
As far as an indecent proposal goes, I'd accept nothing less than $100,000 to tolerate buggery. Any less and it's just not worth the psychological trauma.
