The missers has a 2003 jimny with power stearing, and at seventy km, you can't hang on to the wheel. Now what we have fixxed is - Panhard bushers, kingpin berings, EFS extreme stering dampning, wheel bering are tight, wheels are balanced perfect ( i was there when thay balenced them) and we are lost as to what i could be.
A mechanic has looked at it and he can't find any thing wrong, I was thinking it could be tie-rod ends but thay have no play in them, so we are a bit lost.

All the drive line has been checked have tried three diffrent types of tyres. Still no luck with any of them.
The wobble is that bad when i drive behind her i can see the front wheels wobbling and it looks like the wheels are about to fall off. But all the mounts are still ok no cracks or tears, but its only in the front axiel and the front unis don't move while in 2wd, when it happens i can shift in to 4x4 and it is still there.

I've just fixed this in my 2001 Jimny. It's a very common problem that Suzuki seem to not really want know.
I read in another forum that adding shims to the King Pins to add pre-load fixed the problem. I followed this technique with the help advice from other forum members and have virtually fixed this problem. Every now and then on a bumpy road it'll still have a little shake but only slight and for a moment.
The shims look just like a washer. The outer diameter is 24mm and the inner diameter is 15mm (allowing it to slip over the 'Pin' of the King Pin).
I purchased 10 x 6 thou shims and initially installed one on each KP. It was good for a week but gradually the wobble came back so I installed a 2nd shim to each KP. It has been good now for about 2 months.
By the way I think it's best NOT to put grease between the KP-shim-shim-bearing as it will just go loose again when the grease is squeezed out.
When you've installed the KPs swing the hub back and forth to ensure that you've not crushed the bearings. Notchy or really stiff feeling.
