Are there any worth while power up chips and are they still covered by warranty? Buying a JK 4 door 2010 model....

plugging in an electronic device which alters the factory power output of the motor. Is this covered under warranty? No.

Use of the device to increase power output will also affect any warranty on the ECU/assosciated electronics, clutch, gearbox, transfer case and diffs as these are all affected by the increase in power output.

assuming you get caught using it that is!

Get an auto if you want a diesel JK. No shortage of power just the gearbox doesn't always utlilise the power available to it very well (but you can drive it accordingly).
