engine and drivetrain work

Post by zooki_mad »

hi guys i'm new to the wheeling world and have a 90 model swb vitara, i'm looking for good honest mechanics or shops to get various work done.

i'm looking at an engine rebuild and new cv's that will last. also the diffs are a bit weak and will need to get replaced so maybe someone who can put steel ones in and change diff gears to 5.12's as i have 31's going on this week.

I'm on the gold coast so if anyone knows of people and places that can help out i would be most greatful thanks heaps.

is it auto or manual?
if its lifted u will blow cv's... i have broken 2 cv's in 2 years, so not too bad if u treat the vitara good..

broken 1 front diff housing, so they are not that weak considering the punnishing my car cops..

If it's a manual it already as 5.12's in it.
