Tough Tracks 2010 - Round 1

Post by Willy Hilux »

Guys, I would like to know if I can run a cut down door on the passenger side and standard on the drivers. This is only so I don't have to prep and paint another door for the passenger side.

Let me know,
Cheers
Aaron.

As I said before, Nick has run them from Round 1 last year and no one's had a problem with it. He does have an "Infill" on the drivers door.

As the club Explained it, As there is no Passanger in the Car there is no Reason you can't have a half door on the passanger side.

Personally I don't see the problem with them at all. Run them all round I say!

Should be good , i sold my GQ and gunna navie Team DGR Hilux this year at tough tracks with Dave Burton-Bradley driveing .
Will be a big month for him he has Tough tracks , tuff Truck and a winch challenge all in march

I dont know if shane is coming he was talking about competing in his puslux.

Same applies this year For anyone using our products on either their tow car or comp rig, if you get a overall placing you will get a "Contingency" bonus from Superior Engineering. ( money payment )

Anyone who wins a overall without any of our products will miss out

We are also sponsoring 2 classes this year so that will help out the club again.

Don't think tow rigs count. Just for the comp rigs that are competing I would think.

Superior Engineering will be sponsoring modified as well as challenge as we thought these would be the guys who would most benefit as they are allowed to use more of our products on their cars. ( sorry trophy class )

I have made the decision if you have Superior Products on the comp truck or tow vehicle you qualify for the money. IN ALL 3 CLASSES !

Their is a lot of good drivers and trucks this year so it will be a good comp as well as the coverage from 4wd action

I am also working on having a photographer for challenge and modified as well to keep our website up to date.

If any of you guys ever have photo's you want on Superior Engineering's website feel free to send a disc and i will load them up.

Another year of Tough Tracks and we are well and truely looking forward to it... dates are all marked in our calendar and we cant wait!!

We plan on donating prints again this year for overall year winners.. in Trophy, Mod and Challenge class

I have all of lasts years Challenge Class photos from Shane, I know i've said they will be up but i've been really busy, i've got time over the next couple of weeks so I will be putting them up on our site once i've sorted them out so i'll let you know once i've started putting them up, sorry to those who have been waiting.

We will now be giving a discount to Tough Tracks members/competitors who order prints from us, 15% discount year round.. if we are doing a sale at the time you do an order, we will knock the price down to 20% discount. Just let us know you are a club member or competitor when ordering.

Thanks to everyone who supported us last year, it makes us supporting Tough Tracks 4x4 Club comps much more enjoyable. As most of you would know, we arent paid to be on the track, we are there because we want to support the competitors and spectators, the sales from our prints barely cover our costs but it helps us to make sure you all get to see the photos of any action you might have missed during the competition and we believe Tough Tracks is one of the best comps around (from our standpoint as photographers on the track and as spectators, as we get to see the behind the scenes involvement from Officials and Competitors)

Bring on round 1!

Angela and Tim
Digital Still Photographics

p.s. We have been trying to get our photos into the magazines to support you guys, but unfortunately we get no response, if you would like to see our photos in any 4x4 magazines and have some connections, let them know about us, and then maybe we can get you guys a little bit more coverage
