$1200 is cheaper than what i got quoted by my local upholsterer ($1600ish) to have one custom made...i shopped around a little more tho and found a company called austops. they make a full soft top in a couple of colours, with windows and all fitting gear (press studs, screws and hoops) for around the $900-$1k mark...that was a little while ago, may be a bit more now, but it fits damn well close to perfect. the only 2 bad points i've got to say about the top is that if i want my shorty to look good with the top off i need to take the hoops out too (only because the rear one doesn't fold over my eureka roll bar - its a little wide - as i haven't been arsed to modify it) and i made sure my top was tight on the press studs so i started from centre front working out, and centre rear working out and by the time i got to the doors i had a wee bit extra, again i haven't been arsed to get an extra press stud for each side to take up the little bit of excess. great top though, i reckon it looks awesome as its not quite square at the back but not angled too much like a fastback either...i'll try and put up a pic but it probably wont work!

this is how my austop sits, the back was unzipped which adds a little tautness, and this was when it first went on, so i dunno if its shrunk or i've got my hoops in a different spot, but it looks nicer than in the pics i think... just to give you an idea anyway. i'm pretty sure the company posts aus wide as well for pretty reasonable prices\
all the best

austops make a sportier looking one now and the fit / look is great i'm going to get one.
One of the guys around here bought one and they go around 1300-1400 depends if you want windows or not.

give them a call, you just have to make a couple of measurements to make sure it clears your rollbar and your set.

That austops rag top looks pretty good to me.

If you're in Brisbane, give Moorooka Auto trim a call, should be cheaper than those prices so far, but I can't guarentee their quality. They made my bikini top for the shorty for $200, can't complain, hasn't ripped.
