Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that only day passes were being sold at the gate with no camping.... I found this on the tt website,

AT THE GATE - Cash Only, NO Eftpos available.
Day Entry Pass (Adult) Friday $30 / Saturday $60 / Sunday $40
Day Entry Pass (Child aged 12 to 16) Friday $15 / Saturday $30 / Sunday $25
Children under the age of 12 entry is FREE ( 0-11yrs )
Limited Shower pass's may be available for purchase at the gate. But are not guaranteed. Valued at $15ea
If consecutive Day passes are purchased, they will include camping.

That's interesting. Unless Pete has changed his mind? However, the typical adult will be paying $130 for weekend entry as opposed to $95 (?) prepaid.

Hi All,

To give some clarification on this raised issue:

We had to put above on the website as too many people were ASSUMING that they would not be able to come to Tuff Truck if they turned up at the gate as per previous years and be able to pay and come in. Nowhere have we stated that you couldn't come in and stay for the weekend. We are just not selling a "Weekend Pass" at the gate this year. People will have to pay the day entry rates for each day. As Miss Forby quoted
"the typical adult will be paying $130 for weekend entry as opposed to $95 (?) prepaid."
Thats $130 per/adult = Friday, Saturday & Sunday entry and camping.

We are trying to eliminate the queue holdups associated with paying at the gate as well as keeping our gate staff much more secure, so in this we are 'educating you'. Also we want to try and control numbers on to the site and eliminate 'problem people/groups'.
And lastly, with how things are operated these days, should you want to go to a concert etc you can only order tickets basically online!!!!! we are keeping up with that ideal in mind.

Cheers,

Jo

Not that I'm aware of.

The only one so far is Powerful 4x4.

Pete, the owner off the event wanted 5 wildcard entries put into the draw. These were incase of any very late entries that we felt would be good for the comp and the spectators.
They still will have to pay full entry fees and comply with all off the comp requirements.
We have 1 so far, an entry from Powerful 4x4.
We also know of 2 teams that competed last year that are on long term holidays. If they enter we all would definately want them competing.
All of the team names and 5 wildcard names were in 1 acubra and 1- 44 raffle no's in another.
They were drawn by competitors and visitors at Powerful 4x4 on Sunday.
The team name first then the run no second.
We then will decide on the way we use that run order. be it in reverse or odds and evens as per all past TT's.
