Mitsubishi Canter

Post by katvn »

Have ought myself a mitsubishi Canter and want to convert it inot a mobile home, I have drawn up some plans, and know what I want, but really don't know where to start. Where in Aus is the best place to get it done, and has anyone done this and has some hints and tips for me?

Thats an interesting project mate.
I really can't offer any tips or advice except to say that I would start scouring the 4x4 mags because I'm sure I've seen adds by companies that will do this sort of work.
Good luck.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"

I think 4WD Monthly had an article on a vehicle like that, a few years ago. Ring and ask about back issues?

A mate at work used to be into motor homes (built some himself on touring coach chassis.) I'll try to remember to ask him about organisations which may be able to help. Where are you?

Cheers,

Scott

Thanks for your advice, I have ordered that magazine and will get it Tuesday. Sorry about the shocking typing from my last message, didn't notice until after I had posted it. It seems I will have to take a photo of my beast and put it on here like everyone else. I will keep you all posted on my progress so anyone wanting to do something similar will be able to learn from my inevitable mistakes  Anyone else with any information for me, please post. Ta Kids... (and I only say that because of the spring chicken I am myself :) )
