81 Daihatsu Rocky F-50 ute

hey guys -

Ive been out of the 4x4 game for a couple months now and have come across a 81 f-50 styleside ute at a friends place. Its completely straight, no rust (spent the last 10years in a garage) and has a small 4cyl diesel, & 5 speed manual.

I believe i can pick it up for quite cheap as its taking up room in his garage. All i have to do is put the diff back together (it went bang, he already has the replacement ready to go).

Can anyone give me any information on these. are there parts available for them. Id like to turn it into a capable weekend warrior.

Any information would be awsome, and post up some pics if you have one!

i have a complete front diff here if you want it..hahaa or the centre

the axle tubes have been changed to suit spring over so they wont eb of any use to you.

i threw the rear axle out a while ago now
