Modded Hand brake on patrol diffs

Post by Shafus »

Hi guys, i am not a patrol person but am going to use some gq patrol diffs with a d300 transfer case, and need to know is there anyway to make the hand brake work on the rear diff. I know patrols run there handbrake off the transfer case before the tail shaft, but the d300 dose not. Is there any model rear that does or is there an conversion out there to suit my needs, any help would be great. Thanks in advanced!

easiest way would be to fit a hydraulic handbrake, that way u just plumb it in to ur rear brake lines a use the rear brake calipers as the handbrake. not shure if it would be legal but!
