can't decide weather to run spring over , spring under , parabolic or conventional leaf springs. will be a full trailered rig. and want to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.

IMO I wouldn't be considering a spring-over if you're tying to keep your center of gravity as low as possible

spring over with flat soft springs, long shocks, maybe spin the front leave around so the shackle is at the back

mabe parabolic springs left as a spring under reverse the front shackels heim joint shackel hangers and extended shackels.

What size tyres do you want to fit? Also, how wide will make your track, using 60 diffs or flipped rims? And are you prepared to cut the body?

going to stick with the standard diffs . use +24 offset rims . remove the guards and the panel between the guard and the bonnet and make up tube guards to get some more room (like glen dobbin did to his 45). i want to run around 40 in tyres

I think with 40" rubber, even with removing the guards you may have trouble rubbing with SUA if it has decent flex. Obviously the rear is fine either way as the tray can modded to suit. However the bonnet will stay in the same spot.

I reckon a spring over and shackle reversal would be the go. Keeping the springs flatter should be better for flex anyway from what I've read. Plus they usually flex better SOA as well.

If the budget allows, coil it.

JMO, hope it helps.

Check out my members thread if you want, there are a couple of cruisers in there 1 is on coils and the 2nd rig is oversprung with custom leafs, plenty of info on the set up's in there.

Most of the cruisers in the members section have good set up's, check them out to.

"75 cruiser" has a sweet set if your feeling lucky.

"Zolton" has the parabolic set up.

"Micka" is another good 1.

Better yet in the toyota section there is the "wild 40 series thread" with a bit of a search in there you'll find heaps of info in there.

Hope that helps mate.
