Spare wheel carrier spacer

Post by justoutforaspin »

I am looking to make up a rear worklight bracket to mount off the spare wheel carrier, but dont have much space between the wheel and rear door, ive seen a few ideas for spacing, i think a spacer between the wheel and the carrier would be the best option, rather than spacing the carrier from the door, is there a spacer i can buy or will i have to make something up
any ideas would be great

if it's for a GQ you can fit a 30mm pipe between the standard offset rims with tyres and the wiper. if you get it in the right spot.

with a larger offset rim you get ore room

mine is tight with the 31's but heaps of room with the 33's.

$45 from ARB will get you the wheel spacer. The worklight can then be mounted on a 25mm RHS section bolted to the side of it.
